 The descendants of Abeydeera Wijewickrema Punchihewage Don Davit de Silva (circa 1850-1915) of Gintota.

The two group photos attached below have been taken around 25 years apart (circa 1905 and 1930), and several family members have passed away inbetween. Don David has passed away almost two decades before, and his wife is the head of the family. Maggie a teenager in the first photo (extreme R) is older and on the extreme L in the second photo. Her daughter Nancy is on the extreme R of the second photo as a young girl.

පහත පවුල් ඡායාරූප දෙක අවුරුදු 25 ක් පමණ පරතරයක(1905 සහ 1930 පමණ) ගෙන ඇත. ඒ අතරතුර පවුලේ සාමාජිකයන් කිහිපදෙනෙකු අභාවප්‍රාප්ත වී ඇත. දොන් ඩේවිඩ් ගේ අභාවයෙන් වසර විස්සකට පමණ පසු දෙවන ඡායාරූපයේ මැද සිටින්නේ පවුලේ ප්‍රධානියා වූ ඔහුගේ බිරිඳයි. පළමු ඡායාරූපයෙහි දකුණු කොනේ ගැහැණු ළමයා මැගී ය. දෙවන ඡායාරූපයෙහි වම් කොනේ සිටින්නේ මැදිවියට පැමිණි මැගීය. එහිම දකුණු කොනේ සිටින්නේ මැගීගේ දියණිය නැන්සි ය.


Maggie (c. 1890-1945) married Kalupahanage Panis de Silva, a landed proprietor from Dodanduwa.
Their children were :

* Nancy who married Kahingalage Sam de Silva of Patuwatha, Dodanduwa, Superintendent of Henderson & Co.'s Walakumburumulla Estate in Dandagamuwa. He died in Sept.1943.



Their children were Kirthie, Raja & Ananda (who died as an infant).

* Bertie, formerly of the Royal Army Service Corps and Superintendent of Thalahitimulla Estate, Kuliyapitiya later. He married Malini Peiris, daughter of B. Arnold Peiris of Egoda Uyana.

Their children Were : Ajith, Dr. Shanaka & Anil.

* Leslie (died 1945 in his teens)

The youngest daughter Muriel married Merennage Simon Salgado of Panadura.
